Bosch eBike remote diagnostics. Directly in your browser.
With BlauWerk, you can check your Bosch smart system at home via USB directly in your browser. Your eBike stays with you; you do not need to send anything in or receive a diagnostic device. The free initial check shows whether lighting changes, ID conflict resolution and a diagnostic report are available for your bike.
Before connecting: On Windows PCs, we support all the listed Bosch smart system control units. On Android, LED Controller (BRC3610) and Kiox 400C are currently incompatible. iPhone and iPad are not supported.

Only want to reset or clear the service interval?
Go directly to the service interval page. This does not require a remote system analysis. That is why the service interval does not appear in the function selection after the initial check.
Read the stored interval values there for free and choose your new setting. The change costs €4.99 including 19% VAT or can be authorised with a suitable voucher.
How does the connection to the BlauWerk workshop work?
For remote diagnostics covering lighting changes, ID conflicts and diagnostic reports, your browser connects your eBike to the BlauWerk workshop via USB and the internet. Diagnostics and authorised changes are carried out using the diagnostic system in our workshop. You choose the offered function and desired setting on the website; no additional diagnostic software is needed on your device. Leave the eBike switched on, the data cable connected and the diagnostic tab open until the website confirms completion.
Which Bosch smart system functions are available online?
Depending on the bike, it is possible to read system information, configure the lighting output, address a detected ID conflict and create a diagnostic report. The free check determines what can actually be carried out.
Free initial check; pay only for the function you choose
Before each paid function, you will see the service and its price. Choose an offered payment method: PayPal, credit or debit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. The payment methods offered depend on your device, browser, country and the payment provider's approval. You will see the available options before paying. Alternatively, redeem a suitable voucher. The selected function is carried out only after authorisation is confirmed.
Limits of remote diagnostics: when does the eBike need a workshop?
Brakes, wear, assembly, damaged wiring and other mechanical or electrical faults must be checked directly on the bike. A diagnostic report does not replace that inspection.
Reading Bosch eBike data: app, diagnostic report or battery test?
These three things answer different questions. For BlauWerk remote diagnostics, the eBike is connected by USB while switched on; the exact data available depends on your bike.
eBike Flow app: everyday use of the smart system
The manufacturer's app supports everyday use of your eBike and offers the app functions supported by your system. BlauWerk is a separate remote diagnostic service using a workshop connection. An app display is not automatically a full diagnostic report. Bosch explains how the app relates to the smart system.
Diagnostic report: available system data as a PDF
BlauWerk includes the available system, component, battery and diagnostic information. The key number may also be included if the manufacturer has stored it and it can be read. You receive a snapshot of the available data. See report contents and sample PDF.
Capacity measurement: testing the battery directly
A battery value read from the system is not a new measurement under load. How much energy a battery actually delivers under specific conditions must be checked with a suitable capacity or load test. This physical measurement is not part of the online report.
Which check should I start with?
For available system information: compare compatibility and read the data for free. For mechanical problems, damaged wiring or an abnormal battery: have it checked in person. If you have lost your battery key, see our guide to finding the key number.

Frequently asked questions about Bosch eBike remote diagnostics
Do I have to send in my eBike or any components?
No. Your eBike stays with you. Connect the supported control unit to your Windows PC or compatible Android smartphone using a USB data cable, then carry out the offered function in your browser.
Do I need a diagnostic device sent to me?
No. No diagnostic device is shipped and no loan device is needed for the BlauWerk online service. You need your compatible Bosch smart system, a USB data cable, internet access and a supported browser. A charging-only cable is not enough.

Which payment methods does BlauWerk accept?
We accept PayPal, credit and debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. The payment methods offered depend on your device, browser, country and the payment provider's approval. You will see the available options before paying. Payments are processed through PayPal. Alternatively, you can redeem a voucher valid for the selected function. Free services require no payment.
Which Bosch eBikes can be diagnosed online?
BlauWerk supports the Bosch smart system only. On a Windows PC with Chrome or Edge, the supported models are Purion 200 (BRC3800), LED Remote (BRC3600), System Controller (BRC3100), LED Controller (BRC3610) and Kiox 400C (BRC3200). The free initial check determines whether lighting changes, ID conflict resolution and a diagnostic report can be carried out for your bike.
Can I check my eBike using an Android phone or iPhone?
On Android with Chrome, BlauWerk supports Purion 200, LED Remote and System Controller. The phone must support USB devices. LED Controller and Kiox 400C currently require a Windows PC because their USB connection with Android is not reliable. iPhone and iPad are not supported.
Do I need an app or a special USB cable?
Start the check at blauwerk.de in a supported browser. No additional diagnostic app is needed on your device. The eBike must be switched on. Use a USB data cable connected to the supported control unit; a charging-only cable cannot transfer diagnostic data.
Which diagnostics are free, and what do I pay for?
The initial check and display of available functions are free. Lighting output activation or a wattage change costs €14.99; ID conflict resolution costs €19.99. The diagnostic report costs €0 during the promotion until 17 October 2026, 12:31; no payment or voucher code is needed. No subscription.
