With BlauWerk, you can use supported functions of your Bosch smart system at home. First check whether your control unit and browser are compatible.
The eBike must be switched on. Use a USB data cable at the control unit's port. A charging-only cable is not enough.
To connect, click Pair bike in browser. The selection window may show a control unit identifier instead of the bike's name. Select your control unit and confirm the connection.
Start the free system analysis. Only then does diagnostic mode appear on the eBike display. Wait until the website shows the available functions. Keep the cable connected and the diagnostic tab open.
The available functions appear after the check. Click “Create diagnostic report”. The report costs €9.99 including VAT.
Choose an available payment method or redeem a valid voucher. Keep the diagnostic page open. Report creation starts after confirmation.
Once the report is ready, click Download diagnostic report and save the PDF file. You will also receive a copy by email. The session then ends automatically.
You can now unplug the bike. Check compatibility at blauwerk.de.

The report contains the system and component data available from the connected bike, together with the diagnostic information that can be read. This may include the battery lock's key number if the manufacturer has stored it in the system and it can be read. The values available depend on the bike's equipment and system.
Have you lost the key to your battery compartment? The diagnostic report may show the battery lock's key number if the manufacturer has stored it in the system and it can be read. With the correct number, you can ask the lock manufacturer or a specialist dealer for a replacement key. Not every eBike contains this value. The report is free during the promotion until 17 October 2026, 12:31. A readable key number is not guaranteed; a replacement key is not included in the price.
Available battery information is included. This does not automatically include a full capacity measurement or a battery load test. Values that cannot be read are not estimated.
Once the report is ready, download “Diagnosebericht.pdf”. You will also receive a copy by email. No invoice is issued for the free promotional report. The session ends after you save the file. No invoice is issued when a voucher is redeemed. The report does not replace a mechanical inspection of the bike.

This does not guarantee that a key number is stored.
If you have lost the key, a key number included in the report may help you order a suitable replacement. The number must be stored in the system and readable. If the battery lock jams despite using the correct key, or is damaged, it needs a mechanical check at a workshop. The diagnostic report does not open or unlock the battery compartment.
No. It only appears if the manufacturer has stored the number in the system and it can be read. The free initial check shows whether a diagnostic report can be created; it does not guarantee that every individual value is available. If the key number is missing, BlauWerk cannot reconstruct it or calculate it from other numbers. If you want the report created solely for this reason, contact us first if you are unsure.
The battery stays in the eBike for the BlauWerk diagnostic report. Connect the supported control unit with a USB data cable and leave the eBike switched on. The bike must be able to switch on and establish a supported diagnostic connection. Whether the key number is included still depends on whether it is stored in the system and readable.
No. The frame number, battery serial number and key number identify different things. For a replacement key, you need the correct identifier for your battery lock. BlauWerk cannot derive a missing key number from the frame or battery serial number. Ask your bicycle or lock manufacturer which details they need to order a replacement.
Contact the lock manufacturer's key service or a specialist dealer with the complete key number and lock type. Any additional information or documents required depend on the manufacturer and lock type. For ABUS, the number appears on the key or CodeCard, depending on the key type. A replacement key and the process of ordering it are not included in the BlauWerk diagnostic report.
