Before connecting: On Windows PCs, we support all the listed Bosch smart system control units. On Android, LED Controller (BRC3610) and Kiox 400C are currently incompatible. iPhone and iPad are not supported.

With BlauWerk, you can use supported functions of your Bosch smart system at home. First check whether your control unit and browser are compatible.
The eBike must be switched on. Use a USB data cable at the control unit's port. A charging-only cable is not enough.
To connect, click Pair bike in browser. The selection window may show a control unit identifier instead of the bike's name. Select your control unit and confirm the connection.
Start the free system analysis. Only then does diagnostic mode appear on the eBike display. Wait until the website shows the available functions. Keep the cable connected and the diagnostic tab open.
If the lighting function is available, you can select it and set the lighting power to suit your lights. Wattage describes electrical power, not brightness directly.
The initial check is free. The offered lighting change costs €14.99 including VAT. Work starts only after payment or redemption of a valid voucher.
You can follow the transfer progress on the website. Wait until the website explicitly confirms successful completion.

Diagnostics and authorised changes are carried out using the diagnostic system in our workshop. You choose the offered function and desired setting on the website; no additional diagnostic software is needed on your device. Leave the eBike switched on, the data cable connected and the diagnostic tab open until the website confirms completion.
In a documented functional test on 26 September 2026, 5.2 W was already stored on the bike. Lighting configuration was run again and then confirmed as fully completed. An existing value therefore does not automatically rule out the service. The free initial check determines whether the change can be offered for your eBike. Choose the power to suit your installed lighting.
In the selection field, you can enter 1 to 18 W in increments of 0.1 W, for example 5.2 W. Follow the manufacturer's specifications for the front and rear lights combined. Whether your bike accepts the selected value is checked before the transfer.
The service costs €14.99 including 19% VAT, even if lighting is already activated. The initial check is free. It shows the existing wattage if it can be read. Your chosen setting is transferred only after payment or a valid voucher. If that setting is already fully present, no change is made and no charge is applied.
6 W is an optional BlauWerk suggestion, not a fixed requirement or a blanket recommendation for every light. Watts describe electrical power, not brightness in lux or lumens. More watts do not automatically make a light brighter; the setting can affect range. If you do not know the power required, check your lights' data sheets or ask our support team.
The lighting, voltage and rated power must be compatible and professionally installed. The last lighting setting is retained when switching on. After transferring and checking it, we confirm the set wattage on the website. The session then ends.
BlauWerk currently supports the Bosch smart system only. The system and installed control unit are what matter; the bicycle brand or motor generation alone is not enough to determine compatibility. On the Bosch smart system, the lighting output may be disabled or an unsuitable lighting power setting may be stored. The free initial check shows whether BlauWerk can change this setting online for your bike.
Yes. If the function is available, choose between 1 and 18 watts in increments of 0.1 watt. Follow the manufacturer's permitted total power for the front and rear lights.
