Technical help and transfer log

The website stores the order bound to the bicycle and selection. Initial values, target and readback are also stored in this browser. The downloaded log contains the bicycle ID. Share it only to resolve this operation.

Acknowledging a write command alone does not prove success. Interrupted transfers are never retried automatically.

What does the check read?

BlauWerk reads the stored Low Power Port and High Power Port states and the manufacturer’s permission for each port. Only reliably read ports with permission to change them are offered. An unknown value is never treated as disabled.

Power ports and lighting activation

This service adjusts the additional Low Power Port (LPP) and High Power Port (HPP) outputs. The separate lighting activation service changes lighting settings. They are different functions. Port settings do not confirm a fitted connector, wiring, power delivery or your accessory’s electrical suitability. Follow the bike and accessory manufacturers’ instructions.

How the change works

Connect your e-bike, read the settings and review your selection. Pay once for the combined selection or use an eligible voucher. You then return to the original USB tab and explicitly confirm the write. Both port settings are read back directly afterwards.

After confirmation

A successful readback completes the order. Restart your e-bike afterwards and check the accessory on the bike. Restarting is an instruction for use, not an extra step in our write process. If the outcome is uncertain, your existing order remains available; do not pay again.

Questions about Bosch e-bike power ports

How much does changing both ports cost?

One combined order costs €4.99 total including 19% German VAT, whether you change one or both ports. Reading and previewing are free.

Can I enable Low Power Port (LPP) and High Power Port (HPP)?

The bike must be supported, both port states must be readable and the manufacturer must permit changes to the selected port. Manufacturer restrictions are not bypassed.

What does “Leave unchanged” mean?

That port is not written. Its current state remains part of the target configuration and is checked again after the change.

Does this test the connected accessory?

No. This checks stored settings, not connectors, wiring or attached equipment. Check physical and electrical suitability against the manufacturers’ instructions.

Does payment start the write automatically?

No. The payment page returns you to the original USB tab. You review the preview and explicitly confirm the write there.

Can I disable a port again?

You can select Disable if the manufacturer permission read from the bike allows it. A later change is a new order, not an automatic reversal.

When is the operation successful?

Only when both settings have been read back from the same e-bike and match your selection. Any port you did not select must also remain unchanged.

What happens after an interruption or an ID conflict?

An uncertain write is never retried automatically. Open the existing order in the same browser and check its status. A detected ID conflict must first be resolved separately.
